Service Description
Overview: The Principal Mentoring program offers 20-30 hours of dedicated support throughout the year, focusing on empowering school leaders through personalized coaching and actionable solutions to meet the demands of their role. This program combines in-person coaching with flexible phone and video conference sessions, ensuring consistent support for every aspect of school leadership. Program Includes: In-Person Coaching: 3-4 meetings per year (2-3 hours per session). Phone/Video Conference Meetings: Regular check-ins (approximately 1-2 hours per month). Support for Key Administrative Tasks: School improvement planning and data analysis. Leadership development and decision-making. Conflict resolution and staff management. Strategic planning for family and community engagement. Handling compliance and state/federal requirements. Supporting teacher evaluation and professional development. Budget and resource management. Additional Support: Ad hoc advice and mentorship for any leadership challenges that arise. Scope and Sequence (General Flow): Quarter 1: Initial goal-setting and needs assessment. Focus: School culture and leadership development. First in-person coaching session. Monthly check-ins for leadership support. Quarter 2: Data analysis and planning for academic growth. Mid-year review and adjustments to goals. Ongoing leadership support and conflict resolution techniques. Quarter 3: Focus on community and family engagement strategies. Addressing teacher performance and development. In-person coaching for mid-year reflection and adjustments. Quarter 4: Final assessment and goal setting for the next school year. Review of year’s accomplishments and leadership growth. Plan for continued support as needed.
